They've Ruined Her!
Okay, I have to take a moment to complain of our first clear evidence of the corruption of our daughter by the general public. We taught Ariel to wave like a normal human being- from the shoulder, left to right, no movement of the fingers involved. However, for the last several months, every friend and stranger has waved to her in the typical "baby" fashion - arm still, hand opening and closing. For the first couple months, Ariel didn't even know what they were doing, and I had to prompt her to wave back. Now, for the last week, she has been waving exclusively "baby" style. We have been trying to get her to wave the old way, but to no avail. Why have you all corrupted my daughter's good waving skills???
